The first question after "how are we doing?" is always "compared with what?". New, existing and lost members, money collected and Net (cash) each carry the change against the period before, so a strong month and a quiet one read differently at a glance.
Growth separates new members from existing ones, so a busy month of renewals isn’t mistaken for a busy month of sign-ups. A Members by plan card shows how the roster splits, by plan type or by individual plan, and each row opens the members behind it. Two tiles catch the gaps at the door: people who checked in without paying, and people who checked in with no membership at all.
Retention lists inactive members — 14, 30, 60 or 90 days since their last visit — and splits those still paying from those who have left, so the call list starts with the people you can still keep.
Collected shows cash as it came in; Earned places each payment in the period it covers, so a year paid upfront doesn’t inflate one month. Money collected and net profit each have a twelve-month trend with their own export, and a Tax card appears whenever the period has tax — counted by when it was billed or when it was paid.
Gyms selling at the desk get a Shop report alongside: margin, average sale, what members buy, stock to act on, and takings by payment method and by staff. Periods reach as far as this year or the last 90 days, or a range you pick. Reports stays owner and manager only.
